is located in Oliver House, an historic building in the centre of Cranleigh dating from 1550, and is a traditional coffee house and tea room.
The coffee house and cottage are named after Oliver Cromwell who visited Cranleigh in 1657. It is reputed that he sat in our main dining room where he signed a charter in return for the hospitality given to him. Some of his men were billeted in the cottage during his stay.
The Coffee House has been established for more than 15 years, is fully licensed and is set in a lovely old cottage with low ceilings and exposed beams. We also have an attractive courtyard garden at the front which is an ideal place to enjoy lunch in the sun or to make the most of early summer evenings with a glass of wine.
Please take a look at our Menu page, we have a range of snacks and lunches as well as Fairtrade coffees, a variety of teas and soft drinks, wines and of course cakes and cream teas with homemade scones.
